Project 365 - Week 2
Week 2 and going strong! As I am working on this post I am finding it very enjoyable to reflect on my week. Now a days life goes by so fast! Day's turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, and months turn into years. I like the idea of hitting pause once a day. Here is a look back on the fun, funny, and maybe scary moments from my week. Project 365 - Week 1
I've decided to try one of those 'take a picture once day for a year' challenges. I love using my phone to get creative and take images that I can't with my DSLR. So I thought the app 'Project 365' was a perfect fit for me! At first I was just going to leave the pictures on my phone, but now I think I'll share them with you. Yay! I don't put a lot of personal pictures on my blog but that is now going to change. It will give you a chance to get to know me a bit more.
For the first week I didn't put a lot of effort into it because I was still busy with the kids. They were still off school on Christmas break. Now as each day passes I'm finding myself getting pulled more and more into the project! I really want to push myself to be creative with this adventure!

M&K Tie The Knot!
Let me start off by saying this is going to be a very long post. In fact my longest EVER! For one reason only, SO MANY GREAT SHOTS! My cousin got married in the fall and she flew me up to Victoria, B.C. to take her wedding pictures. What a privilege! Victoria, B.C. is one of the most beautiful places in the world! So not only did I get to spend a week with my amazing family, but I also got to spend time in a gorgeous part of the world! As I watched the bride and groom set up in the brides parents backyard I noticed something very special about their interaction. The way they look at each other and talked and joked around as they set up was so wonderful! These two have been together for a few years now and they have two beautiful children. Yet there is a spark between them like it was lit yesterday! How impressive! In the middle of the busyness of parenting and wedding planning it was obvious that they are madly in love! What a privilege and honour to photograph and witness their wedding!
